Accounting is the language of business, finance just explains different ways people create products from businesses.Finance majors usually become financial analysts. Accounting works just as well or any math related subject. There are other things too like actuaries (price insurance). Finance majors who do not do well become insurance salesmen or financial advisers which are pretty bad jobs.With accounting you do not limit yourself....Show more
Antonia Mogg: Switch to Accounting. With accounting, you can get ANY job a Finance major can get plus accounting jobs as well. Every business, nonprofit and governmental entity on Earth needs accountants and hires them. The same is not true with Finance majors.
