Items such as those you describe give off electromagnetic and/or microwave fields, and every organ system in the human body relies on detailed, electromagnetic/radiowave cellular communication between cells to function properly. Research as far back as the 70's linked power line exposure to such things as miscarriage and childhood leukemia, but the research was downplayed because the utility industries lobbied the government to protect their profits - and they won.Years ago only a small fraction of people lived near power lines and were therefore overexposed (I'm not downplaying that - I think they should have done something then already), but today, with the proliferation of cell phone towers, wi-fi, satellites, rad! ar, FM radio, etc... every human being everywhere is being overexposed continuously. Current research indicates that, though the radiation given off by cell phones is not high enough to thermally heat the tissue, the danger comes from the carrier waves and interference with cellular communication, which can lead to things like immune dysfunction and even cancer. This isn't a rule for just cell phones either - this applies to all modern conveniences involving electromagnetic and/or microwave fields. What makes these frequencies even more dangerous today is that, though we had many of these conveniences in our homes years ago, at least we got an occasional break from exposure.
