Devon Kalberer: First of all, big pharma: the pharmaceutical industry wants you to believe that only their drugs work, so they brainwash the population with ads and other methods to believe in their drugs.Secondly, the health care industry: they depend on people getting sick and coming back for those illnesses--they also are instructed to perform--by hospitals annnd big pharma because big pharma often endorses their services by providing their drugs for a huge discount rate. Hospital administrators depend on the pharmarceutical industry because of their scholarship programs for educating them---so in essence you can say that big pharma controls what's happening in the health care industry......it is a cycle where each one depends on the other for support and in exchange for that they have to do something.I told my ENT doctor that I am taking a homeopathic remedy for my ear problem and he asked me if it worked for me. I could honestly tell him that it had gotten better! . He told me that the reason why alternative medicine is not recommended is the fact that most of those remedies have not been studied, but I found that to be untrue. A lot of natural remedies have been studied in other countries and are used there as a first line of defense--which is how medicine should be practiced. Prescription drugs should be the last resort--it's the same with surgeries. In Germany for example, is peppermint approved for medical use(it soothes the stomach and relieves headaches). Acupuncture is also approved for some medical use, so is passion flower and dandelion. The Israelis had a study done on the decalcifying effect of pommegranate juice, and in Thailand they did a study on pommegranate extract and it's effects on t dental treatment. In Canada they studied the effects of diet cranberry juice on obese men---do I need to go on? The only country where they don't conduct these studies seems to be the U.S.In the UK homeopathy is still the first! line of defense. In Germany people go to their pharmarcy to ! get counseled on what they can try for their ailments(and only if it is a serious one or natural stuff doesn't work do they go to the doctor)---you know, I do know firsthand that alternative medicine works and that it sometimes works faster than prescription drugs: I experienced the healing power of aloe vera when I burnded my hand. I relieved tinnitus with a homeopathic remedy, and recently I discovered that activated charcoal is a better solution for bile reflux than the prescription medication I was given......I think I'll stick to alternative medicine whenever possible to avid the side effects of prescription drugs, even though insurance will not pay for any natural remedies.......Show more
Barton Sease: It is called 'the golden rule of medicine'. He who has the gold makes the rules. (That is why the FDA and the AMA should be outlawed)
Codi Manchel: The pharmaceutical companies have pretty much monopolized the practice of medicine. They make so much pr! ofit off of people's elms that they immediately reject any alternative. In fact, the only herbs they do pass are the ones deemed illegal, such as Marijuana for Glaucoma, because otherwise herbal treatments could be grown by the people themselves and plants are non-taxable.For an herbalist to conform to the FDA's thinking is like a Jew trying to follow Hitler's doctrine.Native American's used to fight infections with plants all the time. It isn't just herbs that are rejected, but potential cures as well. Most medicine's aren't designed to fight the illness, but merely the symptoms. Think of the ramifications if there was a cure for the common cold, how much money would Big Pharma or Glaxo-Cline-Smith lose if people passed up the regular symptom suppressor and went straight for the cure. How much money would the hospitals lose if there was an alternative to chemo therapy? They actually make millions, if not billions, off of chemo. Chemo doesn't just kill cancer cells, but all! cells; the idea there is a person has to suffer as they are slowly kil! led along with cancer; if they outlive the caner the expectancy of their life usually drops by 10 years. It goes even further then this; through the guidelines of Codex Alimentarius, the Food and Drug Administration and World Health Organization have come to the conclusion of classifying vitamins and minerals as drugs, which allows them to limit the amount of nutrients added into food products. Purina Dog Food has 44 minerals in it while rat pellets contain 21; but you're not going to find the average human baby formula with more then 11.These drugs effect our physical and mental health and it has become increasing in numbers the amount of infants put on depression medication. I went through the basic ups and down through life growing up and I didn't need depression meds. Most of these mood altering drugs contain fluoride (94% Prozac); I probably don't have to tell you how the Nazi's used to add fluoride to Jews drinking water in concentration camps and what a large amount o! f intake fluoride does to a person's mind.I also recall in the 1950's a guy named Wilhelm Reich, who was an associate of of Sigmund Freud, developed Orgone Accumulators. Orgone, he thought, was the basic energetic source field of life. The Orgone Accumulators worked miracles when it comes to cures be it physical or mental. Reich was indited by the FDA and thrown in jail for two years, in which he died one and a half years later. The FDA went to lengths of burning his books and recalled his Orgone accumulators to suppress his work....Show more
