If you have insurance on the phone they will replace it for you.There are many differences between a cell phone and a blackberry. A blackberry is considered a "smartphone". You have to pay an extra $30 a month for internet and email. You can go on the internet and get your emails sent right to your phone. A cell phone can also go on the internet and get email, but it is cheaper if you get a plan (I believe like $15) and you don't have to get a plan if you don't use it.Blackberries are nice phones, but they are more a business phone for people who need too send emails for meetings. Sammy Kar: If you lose your phone, your best bet is to try to find it - otherwise you're buying a new one.A blackberry is a 'smartphone' now (back in the day it was strictly a device for email). This means it's a cell phone, emailing device, browser, texti! ng, calendar, organizer all wrapped into one. It's really MADE for the emailing portion, but has in recent years had phone functionality added to it - and now does it quite well. Blackberry requires a data plan to be used in the manner in which it is intended - whereas cell phones are really designed ONLY for calling (even though they may offer some of those other functions, they are not designed with things like emailing in mind...it's added as a 'bonus', if you will)...Show more
