HOMEWORK HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Jackson Esmiol: why are road cones and stop signs reflective? So they seen?!?

Barrett Felicia: i'll give you a hint then you can use your brain to fill in the blanks. The light from the cars headlights hit the reflective material. That makes them glow and become very visible to the driver of the car. Why is that helpful to the guy riding the bike?good luck!

Oda Mauson: if it's dark then the headlights of cars will reflect off you and illuminate you so that they dont hit you and you dont die.detailed enough for ya

Manie Labat: It gives forwarning to approaching motorists, especially during darker times of the day. It also allows you to ensure your own safety when riding. I can't really give much more detail than that.

Samatha Nicar: so that you will reflect when car lights hit you so that you dont get knocked down.

Cedric Grimstead: In a word, 'visibility' to oncoming vehicles. In a sentence, 'It adds to a cyclists length of life.'

Brenton! Cornwall: It basically has to deal with attracting the attention of the drivers. Whether it's light or dark out, wearing reflective clothing will reflect light into the eyes of the drivers, letting them be more aware of you're being there. Even during the daytime, driver's can miss seeing cyclists. Science though? I would probably center your research onto the different types of reflective materials people can wear and how effective they are. Such a broad question like "advantage of wearing reflective clothing..." leaves you with so many choices on how to tackle the question. Types of reflective material; more effective during daytime/nighttime comparison; numbers of cyclists hurt by moving vehicles then compare how many wore reflective material (problem here is the percentages would be inaccurate simply because you need to know the total number of cyclists to begin with in order to get a true percentage ... but you can make a scientific inference that if 2 out of ev! ery 6 cyclists hurt wore some type of reflective material have! a lesser chance of being hurt ... would be accurate. Good luck!...Show more

Maritza Ebanks: How young are you? very basic homework...But it reflects off car headlights so that drivers can see you and you wont get run over

Marquetta Gimm: because reflective clothing looks cool. that way all the other bikers will know how cool you are.

Omar Phipps: Wearing reflective clothes is very helpful whilst cycling as it is bright and this will cause less accidents to take place. It also helps drivers to see cycle's at night so there would be fewer accidents and injuries.Part of the surface of the garment may have retro reflective stripes. This way they become much more visible in the dark for observers near a light source, such as the driver of a car with its headlights on. The pattern of the retro reflecting parts also helps to distinguish between objects and people....Show more

Denna Prudente: Cheating is fun.

Hong Hunkin: If cycling in the dark, the l! uminous clothing will show up and the people in the car are able to see you. During the day it adds that little more safty say if u cycle through a shady area the light will bonce off ur clothing and make you more easily seen.

Galen Gowers: u need to study

Toya Braskett: So cars can see you more easily so you don't get ran over and die?
