Mayola Sylva: Please consider an Apple, they are not over priced as people would have you believe. The hardware that comes with it is meant to optimizie the system. Last year they got desktop, notebook and server of the year and this year...if it is possible they are even better.Consumer reports rated them as best support. And I will attest to that, the Apple stores have genius bars and when I have called on the phone, have never been on hold for more then 2 minutes.It comes loaded with software. And the new Macs can even run windows (like I would want to do that).Their interface is much more intuitive then ! WIndows and the transition from WIndows to Apple is not difficult.If you live near an Apple store, they have classes that you can attend for free....Show more
Virgil Menefee: seriously...the ones that are mass produced...dell is pretty good now and we use them at work...they use easily maintained and that's the key...something that is easily maintained and not expensive as computers are always being exceeded...we have hundreds of dells at work......yes there was a recall of dells..that was for laptops that another company stuffed up the manufacture of the lithium batteries...all been fixed.also...acer is more of the same-quite good...hewlet and packard aren't as good due to more expensive parts and less available therefore more cost etc...dell have changed their rep to a great company with 24 hour helpline etc...acer is also pretty good...so these two......Show more
