Who pays for oil transportation?

Cassidy Pangrazio: Transportation is a cost for the oil company that they pass on to their customers - us.For example, they need to build pipelines from the oil and and gas fields of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan down to Karachi, but the route has to be stable. Unfortunately the route goes right across Afghanistan, and that's why the tax-payers are paying billions for the war.
